We decided to overcome the drainage issue by finding out why it wouldn’t drain in the first place….The reason? Four inches of solid concrete as a base for the patio
We punched through the concrete to create some natural soakaways and then filled in the blanks with some freely draining sharp sand screed…
The wonderfully versatile MultiEdge & EasiFrame was assembled and secured to the patio which helps to contain and separate the Artificial Grass from a beautifully contrasting slate border.
What a difference a little imagination and determination can make – this outdoor space is now a wonderful outdoor room which can be great for entertaining or a little quiet time, and believe us – it’s one helluva sun trap!!!
